I wish I had more free time this summer. I have been so busy. I just started teaching an art class to special needs kids, they are pretty cool. I start on Thursday...I'm a little nervous because they can only scribble for 5 min then they are done, so I need to make the lessons awesome and interesting to last an hour-any ideas??????? And I got another job at the neighborhood pool just cleaning it and stuff. Possibly a third job decorating cakes.
here is the start of a Neanderthal commission:
 lol, Hmmm.
oh. and the air conditioning in my house doesn't work. I have been sweating for the past 2 days. But its getting fixed tomorrow.
Cant wait to start school again!! |

Okay, I think im gonna be done with livejournal for a while. But one more post i guess.
I only have a week left in NY. It hasn't really hit me that I am actually going home. I have gotten so used to living here. BUT I am so excited to go home and see matt and my family. New York has been the most amazing experience...I was able to get a taste of the good life. My most favorites parts about NY: -andrew wk show -hair modeling for bumble and bumble, arrojo, serenity, cutler salons -having the easiest classes and getting credit for it -tacos at the tortilla factory -sitting in the park underneath the manhattan bridge most days for lunch -meeting chuck close -being around the most influential people in the art world -interning with debra hampton -open bars all the time -going to art openings all the time -tick tock salads -50% off sushi -magnolia cupcakes -being on the martha stewart show -going to a Peaches show this weekend -art museums galore -working with a school in brooklyn and meeting the coolest 6 yr olds -walking through central park -laying on the beach at coney island -being in two art shows here
ahhhh I could go on and on about my favorite parts of NY. Hopefully I will live here again and get a job teaching. I would love to live in brooklyn and teach in a school there.
And I lost 10 lbs! I run 6 miles everyday, hopefully I can stick with it when I go back home. I think its amazing considering the amount of chocolate cupcakes I have been eating here.
goodbye new york and hellooooo michigan! Don't worry new york, I will be back!
Im probably going to cry on my plane ride home haha. when i get back the first thing i need to do is eat little ceasers pizza, i miss it so much! |

So i just got back from the Martha Stuart show. Holy shit! so awesome. Abigail Breslin (lil girl from Little Miss Sunshine) was on and I was sitting right next to her mom in the first row. Martha gave us all a $25 gift certificate to Michaels, $50 to Mario Badescu, and $100 to 1-800-flowers.com, a cool decorative punch for paper, these really good onion snack things, and a book based on Abigails new movie coming out.
I got my hair done again yesterday and they cut the back amazingly short, almost buzzed, and i cant stop touching the back of my head, it feels so good! |

my body went crazy when i turned 20. I am now allergic to apples, pears and the skins of random fruits and I now have Dermatographic urticaria, its a skin disorder where i can literally draw on my skin and in 5 min, the skin will raise wherever I drew. Its kind of cool, but it gets really itchy once I do it. Above is a pic of some lady with Dermatographic urticaria who wrote on her legs. weirddd! |

So this morning I was a hair model for Arrojo studio! Nick Arrojo owns the salon, he is the hair stylist guy from TLCs What Not To Wear and one of the girls who was working on my hair was Nicole from Bravo's show Shear Genius! Crazyyyy. I love free hair-do s
Anyways, I told them not to cut it cuz Im trying to grow the front out, so they just dyed it. Sorry my webcam sucks so much. There is bright orange in it and on the bottom in the back too.

Once I get my front hair longer, I am undercutting all of the back hair on an angle..like buzzing it, its hard to explain! |
